Our puppies are F1BB Bernedoodles- the most hypoallergenic and nonshedding combo! Parents both have very sweet and loving personalities. Dad is 65 lbs and Mom is a tall, lean 55 lbs.
Our puppies are hand-raised by our family of 5 and receive lots of love, attention, and a good start to positive training habits.
When you bring your puppy home, you will receive a personalized document from us with helpful information to aid in training and transitioning your puppy home, as well as a few other goodies including a "Missing-My-Mama" scent blankie.

Our Location
Located in a loving home, we hand-raise our Bernedoodles with joy, ensuring they are well-socialized and ready for their fur-ever families.
"Green Gables” is more than a place, it’s a nod to our literary love, “Anne of Green Gables.” At our house: we love books and puppies! Of course, our very first litter had to have literary-themed names: Snow White, Happy, Grumpy, Doc, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Dopey (later, “Zoey,”) Hansel & Gretel. While they are with us, your puppy becomes a part of our family and our routine. We educate our children at home, so we have the wonderful ability to give a lot of love and specialized attention to your puppy all day.
During the newborn phase, we are dedicated to full-time puppy care and the puppies snuggle, nurse and grow right in our family's main living space. When they grow and during their weaning phase, we move them to a designated, safe and warm puppy space in our attached garage and we rotate them in and out of our home. This allows us to give them plenty of individual love and attention and also allows your puppy time away from humans to help promote healthy separation. Although, they are never truly alone during this precious time with their sibling littermates before they leave their first family and meet their fur-ever families! While in our home, we will expose them to lots of sights, desensitization sounds, people, and our other family dog (in addition to their Mama!) to help start their socialization process. When they are vaccinated and old enough for adventures, we will also take them "out-and-about" in the car and (in summer) on the boat to help promote even further readiness for the outside world!

Intelligent + Calm Demeanor
Bernedoodles are a wonderful breed that combine the intelligence of a Standard Poodle with the laidback, calm demeanor of a Bernese Mountain Dog. Berendoodles are known for being eager-to-please, and quite simply: "chill." They make wonderful, joy-filled companions for anyone! They are very healing and would also make wonderful therapy or emotional support companions.
Our puppies are 87.5% Standard Poodle and 12.5% Bernese Mountain Dog- the most hypoallergenic and nonshedding combination!
Meet Mama
Meet Mama, our beloved family member “Oreo.” We absolutely adore her, and she has also made us absolutely fall in love with the Bernedoodle breed.
When we were dating in college, we dreamed of marriage, babies and a Golden Retriever. For our wedding present to each other, we added our beloved Golden Retriever to our family. She was our world and our first “baby” before any little humans arrived. As she aged and our family grew, it became apparent that one of our children was allergic to her. We brushed her, kept her hair short, and vacuumed like crazy until she passed away just shy of 10 years. It was then we switched over to being a “Doodle Family,” with the addition of our Goldendoodle. Two years later, we added our Bernedoodle and yes- totally fell in love with Bernedoodles! We love her balance of playful with being laidback and having an easy temperament. She has been a wonderful addition to our family for so many reasons, and was a very comforting and healing presence for us during a season of grief.
Adding to her specialness is our dream of having puppies with our children coming true. We love raising babies and wanted to raise puppies with our kiddos. Our first litter, in 2024, was an amazing experience for our family. As a homeschooling family, the entire experience completely enriched our children’s education throughout our season of puppies. From learning about prenatal care, waking up at 2:00 am to be present for whelping, supervising our newborn puppies, monitoring and keeping track of feedings and charting their growth, learning what it takes to raise and train well-adjusted puppies, and of course- all of the dirty work involved in cleaning up messes that, thankfully, our kids found to be very fun! It has been a joy to see our children take pride in care-taking and responsibility for pet chores has built such strong character qualities in our kiddos. (If you’re a parent, this is your sign to add a puppy to your family!!)
Another favorite part of the experience has been what we call “puppy matchmaking!” It’s been a joy to connect families with their perfect puppy and to spread the puppy love! We have also found such enjoyment in nurturing Mama through the process by taking extra special care of her and giving her the love (and extra protein!) she needs. Perhaps most poignant for our children has been seeing how fast puppies grow… and it definitely reminds us all to soak up the precious seasons as they come, because they do go so quickly.
